I was tasked by Jon Goodchild with refreshing the Cotswold Cheese brand. The restrictions; keep the colour palette as this was already applied to a number of shops, as well as the font used on the fascias. The challenge was to give them a more unique identity, something with personality and charm.
What now seems an obvious thought came to mind – a mouse! They love cheese (not sure that’s strictly true) and CCC’s offering is aimed at lovers of cheese – so the perfect fit.
The mouse icon, created from cheese rounds and a cheese wedge, has given them an identifier that can be applied to own label products – from biscuits to relishes to jams.
